Yeah, Black Desert Online is full of drama, wizards, witches. Not log in a few hours afk and get full boss gear. In a balanced MMO, people would be able to do raids or explore teh world looking for legendary gear and treasures. Still not sure? Wait for a sale, it goes down to 5€ ~ and it's definitely worth that for the satisfying combat aloneĪlso - The fact they give alot of Daily rewards and throw luxury boxes at you all the time with rare and expensive items, it doesn't make the game good. They haven't added dungeons / Raids which would be fun content for smaller groups - Quest are boring ( the only thing that is fun is fighting cus it's rly smooth ) - And they prefer making new empty areas for you to grind more in, rather than create meaningul stories and questlines for us to engage with. The game is unbalanced beyond understanding, and yet they continue to focus on PVP. However, if you plan on PVE only, grab some friends to make it more fun otherwise you'll get bored fast. Now, to awnser your question Triis : No, the game does not feel dead. ( See ? I like teh game but see it for what it is. And to clarify, these "free expansions" are just content that they're adding so people won't leave because of how unbalanced and broken this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game is. Meanwhile, some people grind for months to even get one piece of equipment at PEN. i will eventually be able to get PEN everything. If i have 10k $ and use it to by outfits and destory my 1k outfits to have 50 million cron stones and Valks cries. The definition of pay to win, is that by using IRL money you can attain things in teh game taht allow you to be more powerful than others and that is the case. Also, it was never up to discussion whether the game is pay to win or not. No matter how much of a fanboy ( like you - Jack Randal ) someone is, there comes a time when you must wake up and see hoe greedy Pearl Abyss is.
People aren't hypocrites for not wanting people to be able to throw fat stacks of cash at a screen and quicky rise in the ranks to be better than you.

Hypocrite much?Lets ignore the free expansions we are getting,and almost every other company would have slaped a AAA price tag on.Lets ignore the tons of free gear,and staff you get by playing the game,lets forget that those cron stones that are such a huge tree in some peoples eyes,actualy do not guarantee you success,right the oposite ,you win less by using them since they will keep on failing.Lets forget that they added caphras stones,which for a change do guarantee you 100% enchantment of your gear,and are by no means obtainable from the PA store,but you have to grind or life skill for them,or buy on the in game regulated market.Lets forget how much easyer is to gear up right now compared to a year ago.Hell only this month they handle like 10+ Shakatu Luxury Boxes,which to me is mind bafling,people do not deserve them like at all!Ops forgot almost the magic black stones,which drop from bosses,and 100% enchant your gear between 12 and 15,and 14-15 requires like 15?They drop from WB and field bosses,and have some variation since are for green,blue and gold gear.Did i forget something? Effectively, the new meta for success is being a high net worth individual. Now you can just swipe your credit card until you get lucky.
